Fantasy Football Fix October 21st 2010
Looking for Hot Pickups for week 7 of the fantasy football season? Win My Fantasy League has got you covered. Recommended names include former teammates Deion Branch and Mike Williams.
Vikings beat writers predict that Randy Moss will not be back with the Vikings next year as he is a mercenary/rental who was brought in to bolster the Vikings chnaces of contending in what could for all intents and purposes be Brett Favre’s last season.
ESPN Insider’s fantasy football analyst Eric Karabell has released his all important flex rankings. These rankings are a top tool to use when making sit/start decisions you cant quite decide on.
Rankings, Rankings, Rankings, check out our jump off pages for rankings where we provide links to the top rankings and projections in the business. We have CBS Fantasy Sports, Rotoworld, ESPN and Yahoo all linked in one place per position…a must if you intend to win your fantasy league.
Football Outsiders Bill Barnwell wrote a guest piece for ESPN Insider and I am always very eager to give him a read due to his somewhat unique insights. And since I know all you do not have ESPN Insider (even though it is a must-have for any serious fantasy sports player) I will give you a taste; the top 2 player boosts based on match-ups per position are: Joe Flacco and Phillip Rivers; Ray Rice and Steven Jackson and Anquan Boldin and Dwayne Bowe.
Sell high on Phillip Rivers? I would, but I do not think there will be many buyers and V-Jax does come back for the critical stretch that is the fantasy football playoffs. So unless you are selling high to buy low on another QB I would hold onto Rivers. ESPN Insider’s Eric Karabell posed this question and he suggests the sell if you can find a willing buyer.
