Fantasy Football Fix October 5th 2010
Randy Moss may be traded to the Vikings by the time you read this. This is a bigger deal in real life than in fantasy for most involved except for Aaron Hernandez and Adrian Peterson who both see their respective fantasy values rise.
Marshawn Lynch has been traded to the Seahawks. We expect Lynch to emerge with low-end RB2/RB3 value coming out of the bye where he will have a great chance to get installed in the offense and get a feel for the playbook. Marshawn Lynch will be the feature back in Seattle.
The Eagles believe there is a chance LeSean McCoy may be able to go this Sunday .
Michael Vick is out for at least 2 weeks and Kevin Kolb is back in as the Eagles starting quarterback. He has not shown much and cannot be trusted as more than a low-end QB1.
Clinton Portis repeated once again that he doesn’t think he will be able to go Sunday and Ryan Torain will get the start. Yes, he is an uphill runner and that makes him and injury risk but when he plays he is effective, roll with him until he gives you a reason not to. He is a RB2 this week.
David Clowney has been claimed by the Carolina Panthers who are in need of some wide receiver help after Steve Smith suffered a high ankle sprain this past Sunday. Clowney may emerge with deep league flex value down the stretch and could be a deep league bye week filler flex option depending on the severity of Steve Smith’s ankle sprain.
