Fantasy Football Fix September 13th 2010
Thomas Jones started the game for the Chiefs but it was Jamaal Charles, as expected, who was the more explosive option. TJ still played more snaps and is better in pass protection so expect their snaps to be relatively even for at least the first half of the season.
Dexter McCluster returned one to the house and showed his excellent open field skills on the run. With Charles and McCluster the Chiefs have two very dynamic and versatile players who are legit home-run threats on every play.
Legudu Naanee, a popular preseason sleeper showed why he had garnered so much hype. He looked much better than Malcolm Floyd and almost added a second TD. Acquire in all formats where a receiver is needed and Mark Clayton is already picked up.
NFL.com fantasy expert Michael Fabiano suggests these names as the top pickups heading into week 2: Mike Williams, Mike Williams, Zach Miller, Michael Vick, Austin Collie, Peyton Hillis, Brandon Jackson, Legudu Naanee, Mark Clayton and Eddie Royal.
Shonn Greene looked terrible against the stout Ravens D and fantasy owners have to be worried that Shonn Greene may have just played himself into a timeshare. LT is the better weapon despite Shonn Greeneās 2nd round fantasy draft status, we just hope he gets on track soon or he will lose his job outright after 2 fumbles and a dropped pass that may have cost his team the game.
