Fantasy Football Fix September 16th 2010
Hakeem Nicks started practice but could not finish due to swelling on his ankle. He injured early against the Panthers on Sunday but was still able to set the fantasy football world on fire with 3 TD’s. His availability for Sundays tilt against the Colts is now in question….get other options ready.
Percy Harvin’s disappearing act in Thursdays game against the Saints has been explained. He was and is dealing with a hip injury. Expect him to have a solid bounce back week if he suits up.
Harvin is a soldier and will likely try to play, if he cant, it will be an indication of how serious the injury really is.
Laurence Maroney has still not practiced and while he puts a dent in KnowShown Moreno’s overall value he does not look like he will be ready to go this week.
Kareem Huggins has a groin injury and those of you waiting for Huggins to become fantasy relevant will have to wait a little bit longer as groin injuries are tricky ones that can be reaggravated if not properly healed before too much strain is put on it.
ESPN Insider Eric Karabell released his flex ranks and as we stated last week they are some of the best om the biz; well worth the subscription to insider. The first thing that jumps at you when dissecting the rankings is the Ahmad Bradshaw ranking at #9 overall suggesting that Bradshaw will be able to shred the Colts much the same way as Arian Foster did. Give these rankings a look.
