Analysis:

Looking at these lists it becomes evident that your first two selections will go a long way into determining your fantasy football success this season. The top 24 is littered with running backs as well as a handful of QB’s and WR’s.

The QB’s that appear in the top 24 include Aaron Rodgers, Michael Vick, Drew Brees, Peyton Manning, Tom Brady and Phillip Rivers. Now while these names are all top-24 talents only Vick and Rodgers have any business being drafted in the 1st round, while Brees and Brady appear to be the only ones we would feel comfortable drafting in round 2. These lists serve as an effective guide to accompany your cheat sheet and are a great starting point for when you compile your own.

The WR’s that appear in the top-24 include Larry Fitzgerald, Andre Johnson, Calvin Johnson, Hakeem Nicks, Roddy White and Greg Jennings with Mike Wallace right on the cusp.

Pro Football Focus is the only site that disputes that Calvin Johnson is a top-3 fantasy wideout ranking him at 6th overall in standard scoring leagues. PFF is also the most bullish on a Austin Collie breakout season, primarily due to his 82% catch rate.
