Brad Smith – Four receptions for 77 yards and one score, Brad Smith is expected to remain starter opposite Steve Johnson and is currently available in 99 percent of Yahoo! leagues. This is good news for David Nelson as well who despite his size and speed seems to really struggle on the outside as opposed to the slot. We don’t expect much week to week from Smith, but as his week 12 performance suggests, he can remain fantasy relevant in deeper league formats.
Greg Little – Little continues to impress for the Browns, last week with five receptions for 57 yards and one score. Little’s upside is capped by Colt McCoy but we are seeing the emergence of a very good NFL receiver who should remain a fantasy factor for years to come. I am really excited about his dynasty league prospects as he will become a tantalizing fantasy force if and when he gets slotted into the number two receiver role he is ideally suited for. His possession receiver skills coupled with his yards after the catch ability will make him one of the most exciting short yardage receivers in the NFL.
Johnny Knox – Available in 69 percent of Yahoo! leagues after one game with Caleb Hanie it appears Knox may be in for a return to fantasy relevance. Knox exploded for 145 yards off of 4 receptions including a 81 yard hookup late in the game. Add Knox wherever available as a potential flex play the rest of the way.
Vince Young – VY is fresh off his first career 400 yard game and gets the struggling Seahawks in Week 13. He has rewarded those who showed confidence in him following Vick’s injury, but strangely, just hours before kick-off for Thursday Night Football he is still unowned in 72 percent of Yahoo! leagues. Roll with VY tonight if you are missing Vick and do not have a better backup in place. VY looks like a low-end QB1 tonight.
