Hot Pickups – Week 15

0
Demaryius Thomas – Demaryius Thomas has caught fire just in time for the fantasy playoffs. For those of you who did not listen and pick him up last week, the talented Thomas is still available in 86 percent of Yahoo! leagues. He has a tasty match-up against the Patriots secondary in week 15 and has the ability to be an impact performer in a playoff week. He had his second strong week this past Sunday with seven receptions for 78 yards and a touchdown. Start with confidence as a flex with WR3 upside this week against the beatable Patriots secondary. As evidenced by this picture, Tebow loves him some Demaryius Thomas.

Felix Jones – Dropped in many leagues due to the emergence of DeMarco Murray, Felix Jones is primed to live up to his pre-season promise with both DeMarco Murray and Tashard Choice no longer threats for carries. Jones has especially high upside in PPR leagues. Start him with confidence as a RB3 with RB2 upside in all formats. Jones is available in 45 percent of Yahoo! leagues.

Packers WR’s – With Greg Jennings down, tight end Jermichael Finley is slated to take over as the number one target with Jordy Nelson becoming the number one receiver. James Jones, Donald Driver and Randall Cobb will all see there values increase while Jennings is out and should be deployed in deeper formats. All are flex options with considerable upside as Aa-Rod loves to spread the wealth amongst his receivers. Jones, Driver and Cobb are available in 44, 77 and 86 percent of Yahoo! leagues respectively.

Marion Barber – Mysteriously Marion Barber is still available in 39 percent of Yahoo! leagues and should be picked up wherever available. While looked at a no more than a flex option he did go off for 108 rushing yards and 32 receiving yards in week 14. Start him with confidence as a flex option against the Seahawks.

Titus Young – Those in deeper leagues will want to give the talented Young some consideration. At worst pick him up to block other owners, at best, start him as a flex2 with the knowledge that due to Megatron constantly being double teamed Young will invariably find himself in man to man coverage. While his true breakout may not happen until next season, Young can help owners in a pinch. Young is available in 93 percent of Yahoo! leagues.
