Hot Pickups – Week 16

Maurice Morris needs to be added in all leagues after his week 15 performance of 15 carries for 109 yards and a touchdown. He was dropped in a lot of leagues last week so he may be on your wire. He is a must-add even if it is just to block your opponent in the finals. Morris is currently available in 90 percent of Yahoo! leagues.

James Jones 5 for 95 and one touchdown and had a team-high eight targets and is someone to target in all formats. Whether you need to employ his services or not you do not want your opponent picking him up and hurting you with him so we recommend the strategic block. Jones is currently available in  84 percent of Yahoo! leagues.

Donald Brown went off for the Colts in week 15 with 14 carries for 129 yards and one touchdown. Brown is currently available in 71 percent of leagues and needs to be added if available even if just to block your opponent in the finals.

Andre Caldwell is a hot pickup this week following Terrell Owens’ injury this past week that has left his season in doubt. Caldwell is threat to score and should be rostered in the deepest standard leagues. He finished week 15 with four receptions for 89 yards. He is worth the add to block your opponent if possible. Caldwell is currently available in 100 percent of Yahoo! leagues.

Davone Bess went off this past Sunday for nine receptions for 78 yards receiving. Though Bess is the number two option and has Henne as his QB he is start-worthy in a 2nd or 3rd flex position this weekend if you lack better options. Bess is currently available in 55 percent of Yahoo! leagues.

Brandon Jackson went off with 22 for 99 yards against the Patriots and has been brought back from the fantasy dead after James Starks was a healthy scratch in week 15. Jackson is a risky play in the fantasy super bowl and should be added purely for block purposes. Jackson is currently available in 34 percent of Yahoo! leagues.

Mike Williams returned to the Seahawks with eight receptions for 66 yards and is a must-add in PPR leagues with Matt Hasselbeck steal to get the call again in week 16. Williams is currently available in 59% of Yahoo! leagues and is a solid flex2 option with WR3 upside in PPR formats.

Derrick Ward may become the hottest pickup of the week depending on the health of Arian Foster for week 16. Foster was dinged up this past Sunday and sat out the final two drives with the Texans playing from behind. If Foster cannot go Ward is an upside RB3 against the Broncos in week 16. Ward is currently available in 94 percent of Yahoo! leagues.

Aaron Hernandez had four receptions for 31 yards and two touchdowns for the Patriots this past Sunday night and should be added where available in two TE leagues. Hernandez can not be trusted as a TE1 with Gronkowski and him trading big weeks but has upside as a rock solid TE2. Hernandez is currently available in 39 percent of Yahoo! leagues.

Jacoby Jones had big day against the Titans in week 15 going off for seven receptions for 50 yards. If you are in your finals you probably do not need Jacoby Jones but he is a solid block if your opponent does. Jones is currently available in 75 percent of |yahoo! leagues.

Kevin Walter went off this past Sunday for seven receptions, a team high 79 yards and a touchdown. Walter should be owned in all PPR formats and is a solid flex2 play in deeper leagues. Walter is currently available in 68 percent of Yahoo! leagues.

Rashad Jennings had only 3 carries for 13 yards but made up for his lack of carries with seven receptions for 64 yards in Week 15. Jennings has elevated himself to flex consideration in the deepest of leagues and is worth the add if you roster will allow it. Jennings is currently available in 93 percent of Yahoo! leagues.

Emmanuel Sanders went off in week 15 with seven receptions for 78 yards and is worth a look in the deepest of leagues, Sanders should be on rosters in leagues with 225+ skill player roster spots and is a debatable flex2 start. Sanders is currently available in 98 percent of Yahoo! leagues.

Danny Amendola was solid once again in week 15 and finished the day with a game high seven receptions for 60 yards. Amendola is worth a look in deep leagues and is someone who should be owned in all PPR leagues. Amendola is currently available in 56 percent of Yahoo! leagues.

Arellious Benn looked solid once again in week 15 and finished Sunday’s game with three receptions for 34 yards. Benn is worth a look in the deeper leagues, as although he is not a big-play threat he is now a weekly threat to score.Benn is a must add in all dynasty formats. Benn is currently available in 92 percent of Yahoo! leagues.

Benjamin Watson went off this past Sunday for seven receptions for 92 yards and looks like a solid play in week 16. Watson is must-own in PPR formats and is worth a look as a low-end TE1 in deeper leagues. Watson is currently available in 57 percent of Yahoo! leagues.

Brian Robiskie is back on the fantasy radar following a five reception, 82 yard and one touchdown performance against the Bengals. Robiskie is only worth a look in the deepest of leagues but could pay dividends in the most crucial week of the fantasy football season. Robiskie is currently available in 100 percent of Yahoo! leagues.

David Nelson has proved his fantasy relevance once again. He finished week 15 with three receptions for 61 yards and a touchdown and should be rostered in the deepest leagues. With Lee Evans out he is a flex2 and with Evans in the lineup he is still a flex2 albeit with less upside. He is a Fitzpatrick favorite and as strange as it may sound that alone makes Nelson fantasy relevant. Nelson is currently available in 100 percent of Yahoo! leagues.

Rex Grossman threw a career high four touchdowns in his controversial start over Donovan McNabb and is worth a look in two QB leagues only. We should all take into account that he faced the beatable Cowboys secondary in week 15 before inserting him as a starter in week 16 however. Grossman is currently available in 98 percent of Yahoo! leagues.

Anthony Armstrong placed himself back on fantasy radars with his week 15 performance of five receptions for 100 yards receiving and is a solid flex2 in the deepest of leagues. Armstrong is worth a look in leagues with a 225+ skill player pool and is block worth even if you don’t need him yourself. Armstrong is currently available in 90 percent of leagues.

Josh Morgan went off with seven receptions for 106 yards last week on Thursday Night Football and he should see a healthy diet of targets in week 16 as well. Morgan is only worth consideration in the deepest of leagues but he has unique WR3 upside as a flex2 and could cause some damage if on your opponents roster. Make the block add at the very least. Morgan is currently available in 97 percent of Yahoo! leagues.

Tim Tebow? Just kidding, if you are in the finals this is not a move you are seriously considering.
