IDP Rankings – Week 16
Alec Ogletree has been going off for the Rams in recent weeks racking 8 solo tackles to go with 1.3 assists per game with two passes defended and a forced fumble. Ogletree is long on talent and should form a deadly combination with James Laurinaitis for years to come. Ogletree comes in as our thirteenth ranked linebacker for week sixteen.
Karlos Dansby has been on fire in recent weeks and has 28 tackles, 3.5 sacks, four passes defended, two picks and two defensive touchdowns and has been the most productive overall linebacker not named LaVonte David. Dansby is our fifth ranked linebacker for the fantasy super bowl.
LaRon Landry seems to have found his groove and comes in as our number two ranked defensive back for week sixteen. Landry would be the top defensive back option if not for his injuries this season so keep that in mind when making your lineup decisions this week.
Harrison Smith has rejoined the Vikings starting lineup and it is time he rejoins yours as well. Smith is a top five defensive back in fantasy terms and needs to be on fantasy rosters during fantasy super bowl week if for no other reason than to block your opponent from using him, especially in two plus DB leagues.
Chandler Jones continues to be one of the most consistent forces at the defensive end position and comes at his regular number two spot in our rankings.
Olivier Vernon is creating havoc for the Miami Dolphins and has an insane 4 solo tackles to go with his 1.5 sacks over the past four weeks. Vernon should be in all fantasy lineups as his tackle plus sack production makes him a shoe-in top ten option this week.
