IDP Rankings – Week Thirteen
Vontaze Burfict is the top IDP linebacker and has racked up an insane 118 tackles with five games still left to go. Burfict will continue to be an IDP force down the stretch and will be a top three play for the rest of the season with only Sean Lee and Paul Posluszny pushing him to be a top option week to week.
Paul Worrilow has been a top ten IDP linebacker since his insertion into the starting lineup and he shows no signs of slowing down despite joining the Falcons as an undrafted free agent. Worrilow much like fellow elite UDFA Vontaze Burfict is an absolute tackling machine and he projects to get a plethora of opportunities with opponents looking to ground and pound to keep Matt Ryan off of the field.
Chandler Jones is a beast and has averaged 5.7 tackles and 1.3 sacks over his past three games. Jones has emerged as one of the top five defensive ends in all of football and will be an elite fantasy play for years to come.
Robert Quinn has been dominant for the Rams this season but he has really picked it up over the past few weeks averaging a sack per game to go with 3.7 tackles and .7 forced fumbles.
Barry Church has been a tackling machine at the defensive back position and has somehow amassed 10.7 tackles per game over the past four weeks. Fantasy owners have finally caught on and Church is the most owned DB in Yahoo! leagues. Keep rolling Church out there as an elite option.
Eric Weddle has been inconsistent this season but when he’s been hot he has been scorching. Weddle is second among defensive backs in tackles with 83. Weddle has racked up 9.1 tackles over his past four games and is in line for another tackle heavy contest against the Bengals this week.
