IDP Rankings – Week Two

This season in our IDP rankings we will try to take look at hot pickups for those in deeper IDP leagues and than jump straight into the rankings with the thinking being that at defensive line and linebacker there is only slight matchup based ranking tinkering as thus less need for a weekly breakdown of the position.

At defensive back as always high tackle safeties remain king but cornerbacks who get a lot of work are just as, and sometimes even more valuable, but in IDP consistency is king so you will usually see about 15-20 safeties before you see a cornerback in our rankings, quite often it will just be the same ones rotated based on matchups, byes and performance.

Our rankings will be below our pickups.

IDP Hot Pickups

Henry Anderson – The rookie Henry Anderson absolutely ‘beasted’ in week one against the Bills as he piled up nine total tackles including three that went for a loss. Game planning to go run heavy against the Colts may be a trend we see this year so put Anderson on your radar as a DE2 DL2 type. Those in deeper IDP leagues or IDP only leagues should take the plunge if he is still on your wire.

Alex Okafor – Alex Okafor is another name to watch or add to the end of your benches at the defensive end position. He piled up four solo;s and one assist while adding a sack and is someone who has been trending upward since late last season. Okafor is a worthy DL2 and worth a pick up after the claim period has passed.

Koa Misi – Misi has a chance to put up some solid IDP numbers this year behind a deadly combination of talent at tackle and defensive end. Misi managed nine total tackles against Washington in week one and should be on IDP radars as a LB3 with upside for LB2 numbers.

Week two is literally hours away so without further adieu here are our IDP Rankings for week two.
