Jerry Stackhouse to the Heat
Mike Miller has been ruled out until Janurary and the Heat moved quickly to add veteran swingman Jerry Stackhouse.
On paper Mike Miller is a much better fit than Jerry Stackhouse as he is a solid passer and 3-point shooter.
However let us not forget that Jerry Stackhouse is still Jerry Stackhouse.
This move in my view anyway increases the Heat’s chances of making a serious run in the playoffs as they now have the offensive firepower to overcome a injury to one of their big 3.
For fantasy basketball purposes this move has a chance to be irrelevant. The Heat have decided against using Wade at PG and with him starting at SG there is probably only 10-15 minutes a game. Keep his name in mind if worst comes to worst and Dwayne Wade misses some time with an injury.
