Lions GM has a man-crush on Jahvid Best the likes of which are usually reserved for Brad Evans’ of yahoo sports’ love for Brandon Jacobs.
Best is an electrifying running back with exceptional speed and will be the #1 back in Detroit from day one. Yes, Kevin Smith is still on the roster, but coming off of injury will be eased back, and you have to agree, they did not trade up to get Best planning to make him the #2 back.
Best should dazzle with his electrifying home-run ability and should become a fantasy mainstay if he can prove he can take the rigors of a full NFL season. Don’t sleep on him on draft day, he will outperform some more seasoned starters.
