Michael Beasley Arrives: Fantasy Analysis

Michael Beasley finally had his coming out party with a career-high 42 points an 9 rebounds for the Minnesota Timberwolves, including 18 points in the 1st quarter alone

It is good to see Beasley find his game after a tumultuous summer where Pat Riley tried to pawn him off on anyone who would take him most notably in the sign and trade for Chris Bosh but Bryan Colangelo refused to bring such a mercurial personality into a locker room filled with young talent who may have gravitated towards Beasley.

Enter the T-Wolves who pulled off a heist by acquiring Beasley for the laughable price of a 2nd round pick for a former #2 overall pick.

Beasley had some bumps to start the season but finally showed the NBA that he is the player as advertised and that off-court issues don’t mean a damn in fantasy basketball.

Beasley is now making serious strides and the fantasy world has no doubt taken notice.

He is a top-20 talent and his scoring prowess and rebounding ability is legit so hold onto him in fantasy leagues.

He is a solid-buy in dynasty leagues but we recommended making the offer after a poor game.
