This is championship week for many fantasy leagues. Owners are looking for that one player that can put them over the top and finish the season with a victory at the most crucial time.
So who is the hottest pickup of Week 16? Looks like it will be the backup of one of the top fantasy football players.
Maurice Jones-Drew is listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game versus Washington. This means that Rashad Jennings appears to be Jacksonville’s primary back in a very favorable matchup.
Jennings has accumulated 184 total yards and two touchdowns over the past three weeks. This is quite impressive considering that teammate Jones-Drew was the feature running back in each of the games.
Now that the second year back has the start and is playing against a vulnerable Washington run-defense (allowed the sixth most rushing yards), Rashad Jennings could be the difference in your fantasy championship matchup.
