QB Rankings – Week Five
Peyton Manning and Drew Brees continue to top the quarterback rankings followed by fellow tier one QB Aaron Rodgers fresh off a bye week. For all the talk about these teams wanting to emphasize the run, these three sure still look elite in fantasy.
With Jake Locker out Ryan Fitzpatrick comes in as a bottom two option this week despite the Titans remarkable 3-1 record.
Matthew Stafford looks primed for a big game against divisional rival Green Bay Packers whom he has averaged 307 yards per game against over his career.
Michael Vick looks poised to have a big game against the Giants on paper but the Giants have played Vick tough during his tenure as an Eagle and if they can stifle DeSean Jackson, he may struggle once again.
Philip Rivers is in the midst of a career renaissance and should have a big game against his division rival Oakland Raiders this week. Rivers is ranked as a sure fire QB1 this week.
Tony Romo finds himself ranked as a top ten option this week as the Cowboys will be in for what looks like a shootout/garbage time fantasy bonanza for Romo owners.
Colin Kaepernick and Andrew Luck find themselves ranked outside of QB1 territory with Kap going up against the Texans and Luck the Seahawks. If you have a higher floor option for week five, plug and play.
