QB Rankings – Week Fourteen

Nick Foles continues to impress and has now thrown 19 TD’s without an interception, a stark contrast to Michael Vick’s explosive yet error prone ways. Foles is a bit of a boom or bust proposition week to week as he has thrown for zero TD’s twice and for only one once so far in his starts this season. This week against the Lions however Nick Foles is a strong start against a weak Lions secondary that has allowed the 13th most fantasy points to the quarterback position. Foles should vie for two to three touchdowns in this one as the Eagles may find it difficult to run against a surging Lions run defense. Foles comes in as our 6th ranked QB for week fourteen.

Russell Wilson should be in line for another strong week despite playing against the 49ers who have allowed the 5th fewest points to the quarterback position. Wilson has won two of his three meetings with the 49ers and we expect Wilson to throw for at least two TD’s in what could become a shootout if Colin Kaepernick is up to the task. Start Wilson with confidence despite the tough matchup. Wilson debuts as our 7th ranked QB for week fourteen.

Mike Glennon has shown some flashes of upper level QB2 talent but he has proven to inconsistent to trust on a week to week basis. He should find more success this week than last against a middle of the pack pass defense but Glennon is hard to trust outside of two QB leagues. We suggest hitting the waiver wire this week if Glennon has somehow ended up your starter due to injury. Glennon comes in as our 22nd ranked QB play for week fourteen of the fantasy football season.

Matt Flynn looked horrible last week versus the Lions and should not be started in any fantasy leagues despite the tasty matchup. The Falcons have been horrendous this year, especially against the pass and some might feel compelled to stream start Flynn this week but there is a very low floor here so we suggest going with one of your other options this week. Flynn comes in as our 28th ranked QB play for week fourteen.
