QB Rankings – Week Seven
Aaron Rodgers takes a value hit with Randall Cobb on IR and James Jones also nursing an injury of his own. We are not too worried as Rodgers has confidence in Boykin’s football I.Q and there are already rumblings that Jermichael Finley will be used more out wide with Quarless and Bostick soaking up the tight end targets. Aaron Rodgers remains a top five quarterback play until further notice.
Tony Romo checks in as a top five option in week seven facing an Eagles defense giving up the 4th most passing yards per game and 2.2 touchdowns per game. Romo now has another trusted weapon in Terrence Williams and with DeMarco Murray expected to miss this weeks contest we expect Romo to throw passes to his hearts content. Romo is currently our number three ranked receiver for week seven.
Jay Cutler comes in as a top ten option this week against a Redskins defense giving up 293 yards per game. The Redskins are going to struggle in coverage trying to contain Marshall, Jeffery and Bennett. Expect Cutler to throw for 280 plus yards with at least two scores.
Nick Foles has top ten upside this week against the Cowboys in what should turn into a shootout. The Cowboys give up the second most passing yards in the league at 329 yards. Foles has looked so far this season but has not exactly faced stiff competition. Roll with Foles in a bye week pinch or if you have Vick out.
