RB Rankings – Week Six
Stevan Ridley has taken a tumble in our rankings this week and although he still possesses RB1 upside due to the absence of Shane Vereen he has a flex floor and thus comes in ranked as an RB3 this week. Ridley can get it going at anytime which is why it is hard to suggest sitting him but he is very far from a consistent fantasy option. Dynasty leaguers may want to sell before it is too late.
Reggie Bush was suffocated without Calvin Johnson to draw double and triple teams but should have a solid bounce back week against a surprising Browns team. Bush may not see much production on the ground if he is unable to rip off a big one but should find success through the air in this contest. Bush comes in this week thirteenth in our rankings.
Trent Richardson has been one of the most polarizing figures in fantasy football this year. He only has one reception as a member of the Colts which is hurting his fantasy value but his weekly upside in the Colts offense remains unchanged. I will not argue that aside from his receptions Richardson could be considered a bust thus far in his NFL career but 50 plus receptions and double digit rushing touchdowns is impressive regardless of yards per carry. Richardson was vultured by Donald Brown last week but is expected to find paydirt versus the Chargers.
Giovani Bernard has worked his way into the RB2 conversation and has a plus matchup versus the Bills this week. Bernard has lost a fumble in two straight contests but has proven on the field to be a superior player to BJGE despite the miscues. Bernard has more talent than preseason favorites like Lamar Miller and David Wilson and will be in the RB1 picture by 2014. Dynasty leaguers make the push now before the price tag becomes prohibitive.
