RB Rankings – Week Thirteen
DeMarco Murray continues to look strong this season and gets the Oakland Raiders in week thirteen, a matchup which he should eclipse 120 yards from scrimmage with relative ease. DeMarco has quietly been a RB1 when healthy and has one of the easiest playoff schedules. The Raiders have given up some solid fantasy days this year and with DeMarco as a workhorse back we are not paying particular attention to their current fantasy points per game allowed to the running back position.
Giovani Bernard looks to be in line for a RB1 performance this week against the Chargers. The Chargers have been solid against the run for the most part this season but have been getting lit up via the pass game which Bernard excels in. This weekends tilt is expected to be a tight contest as the one point spread can attest to which means the Bengals should give Bernard more snaps than BenJarvus Green-Ellis health permitting. Bernard is our 11th ranked running back for week thirteen.
Andre Brown looks like a top ten option this week against a Washington team giving up the sixth most fantasy points to opposing running backs. Vegas has this one being a tight matchup but we expect the Giants to be up in this one giving Brown extra carries. Brown looks like a 80/20 lead back and plays on passing downs and has one of the easiest matchups of the week. Start Brown in all leagues.
Chris Ivory and the Jets face off against a Dolphins defense allowing the fifth most fantasy points to opposing running backs this season which makes Ivory a solid start this week. Ivory has shown flashes of dominance by surpassing 98 rushing yards in three of his past five contests. Ivory should vie for at least 80 yards rushing so long as the Geno Smith doesn’t dig the Jets into a large hole which causes the coaches to abandon the run. Start Ivory with confidence this week.
