Reggie Evans Fractures Foot: Fantasy Basketball Impact

Reggie Evans has suffered a fracture in his right foot and is expected to miss the next 4-8 weeks.

This is a huge blow to a Raptors squad that has won four of their last five games.

Fantasy Impact:

Amir Johnson will be the one called upon to be the starter and will bring his 14 point, 10 rebound per game potential with him. He shoots excellent from the field and will also provide steals and blocks. Make the add in all leagues.

Linas Kleiza is also in line for increased minutes as he will get some run at the power forward position. Linas should see a 10+ minute per game increase until Ed Davis gets called up.

Peja Stojakovic will also see some time at power forward and had been employed there by the Raptors even prior to Reggie Evan’s injury. Add him to your watch list and be ready ti make the add at first signs of a breakout.

Joey Dorsey will be leaned upon to pick up most of Reggie Evans’ rebounding slack and is worth a look in only the deepest leagues.

Raptors rookie Ed Davis who is currently undergoing a rehab stint in the minors…err, the D-League now has a clearer path to playing time when he gets called up and is worth an add to your watch list.
