Target Practice – Week 2

Welcome to week 2 of our Fantasy Football target practice where we analyze the most targeted receivers and backs.

Andre Johnson had the most targets on the week with 17 and manged to haul in 12, teammate Kevin Walter was perfect and hauled in all 11 of his targets.

Jahvid Best led the Detroit Lions in targets with 14 and Calvin Johnson owners need not worry as he still received 11 targets on the game.

The most surprising name on this list is Darrius Heyward-Bey who had 13 targets and 6 total catches for a career high. Louis Murphy had 10 targets and 6 catches himself.

Rookie tight end Tony Moeaki had 10 targets and 5 catches and figures to be a big part of the Chiefs offense going forward.

Mike Sims Walker corralled 10 of his 12 targets after a zero catch performance in week 1.

Harry Douglas had 8 targets despite only catching 2 of them.

Demaryius Thomas hauled in 8 of his 9 targets…remember he was only on the field for two series.

For those of you working waiver wire both Josh Morgan and Deon Butler had 8 targets a piece.
