Fantasy Football Target Practice – Week 6
Brandon Marshall was the most targeted receiver of the week and actually accounted for a eye-popping 44% of Chad Henne’s targets. Good for the highest thrown to % in the league this week.
Mike Williams of the Seahawks is a surprise inclusion on this list with a whopping 15 targets.
Felix Jones hauled in all 10 of his targets and had the most efficient day of any receiver. Felix is looking like PPR gold the rest of the way. We expect Marion Barber to be worked back into the mix however.
Josh Freeman peppered his top options with targets with 4 players having more than 8 targets. The Bucs were down all game and Freeman got to air it out.
Deion branch who just moved to the Patriots reunited with Tom Brady and received 12 targets in his first day back in New England.
Johnny Knox finally had a double-digit target day with 11 targets. This is more in line with what we were expecting from the Cutler-Knox connection this year.
Nate Burleson had 9 targets, while Benjamin Watson also had 9. Both need to be on fantasy rosters everywhere.
Michael Jenkins had a notable first game back outproducing Roddy White on a matching 11 targets with 99 yards to White’s 83. Michael Jenkins should be added in all leagues.
Brandon Petigrew is a top target once again and despite the extension of Tony Scheffler is seeing his dynasty league stock rise.
Patrick Crayton had 7 targets in his first start at wide receiver for the San Diego Chargers.
Players with double digit targets this week included: Brandon Marshall; Mike Williams; Andre Johnson; Santana Moss; Deion Branch; Brandon Pettigrew; Roddy White; Michael Jenkins; Johnny Knox; Wes Welker; Felix Jones; Brandn Llyod; Eddie Royal; Kellen Winslow; Ray Rice and Derrick Mason.
