TE Rankings – Week Thirteen
As we echoed last week Ryan Fitzpatrick loves him his safety valves and Delanie Walker is among the most talented tight ends he has ever played with. Walker has emerged as a legitimate TE1 level option in PPR formats and should be started in most leagues going forward. Walker is in line to be a bit matchup proof simply because he will be heavily targeted every game going forward. Start Walker with confidence in deeper leagues.
Rob Gronkowski comes in as our number one fantasy option this week against the Texans. The Texans have been plain bad this season and they should not be able to cover one of the hardest covers in the league. Gronkowski is a weekly must-start.
Jared Cook continues to be an upside laden play that we simply cannot trust to start week to week. Cook has TE1 ability but with Kellen Clemens under center he is not a trustworthy fantasy option. Sit Cook in all but 30 team leagues.
Julius Thomas is expected back this week after missing last weeks contest with the Patriots and judging by the Broncos difficulties passing over the middle last week they need Julius to remain the top seed in the AFC. Thomas continues to be an elite option at the tight end position and he should continue to be a top five play until Peyton Manning retires. Start Julius in all formats.
