Week 15 Rankings

With Megatron drawing closer and closer to breaking Jerry Rice single season receiving record and with the Lions out of the playoff picture, everyone and his mother knows that Stafford will be looking to feed the beast with countless targets in order to help him write his name in the NFL record books. Despite the uncharacteristic low touchdown count Calvin Johnson remains the most dominant receiver in football and is on pace for more than 1,900 yards this season. Megatron remains the top ranked receiver for week 15.

How can one talk about Calvin Johnson’s monstrous season and not talk about week 15’s number one ranked running back in the Purple Jesus, Adrian Peterson. Though no one is really talking about it much I personally believe Adrian Peterson based on his averages over the past five or so games can indeed crack the 2,000 yard rushing mark for the season. The fact that he tore an ACL just about 53 weeks ago seems like a myth.

With the Saints at home I expect Drew Brees to emerge from week 15 as the top fantasy quarterback. Though this will be a tough fought divisional game, a shootout seems to be inevitable with these two dynamic offenses. The Bucs may look to keep Brees off the field by running the ball down the Saints throat with dynamic rookie running back Doug Martin but Brees can put up points in a hurry.
