Week 15 Rankings

The semi-finals are here!

This week we will just dive right into the rankings:

At quarterback college phenom Johnny Manziel is slated to start his first NFL game and ranks as a borderline QB1 due to his rushing yards potential. Peyton Manning has not been his usual dominant self lately and checks in at number three in our rankings for week 15 behind Andrew Luck and Aaron Rodgers respectively. Derek Anderson is slated to start for Cam Newton who suffered injuries as a result of a mid-week car accident; owners should consider Newton’s season in jeopardy. Anderson comes in as a low-end QB2 option as he showed well during his spot start to begin the season. Tony Romo despite his penchant for being Tony Romo is once again ranked as a QB1 with the Eagles on the schedule, however risk averse owners would be wise to remember that this game is in Philly and Romo cost many a fantasy owners the playoffs with his putrid performance against these same Eagles just two weeks ago, in Dallas.

At running back Jeremy Hill has emerged as a superior everydown back to Giovani Bernard and has brought to fruition our offseason prediction that he would eventually see more snaps than Gio despite Bernard’s immense talent. CJ Anderson is a legit RB1 for the Broncos and one has to wonder where Montee Ball will fit in next year. Demarco Murray as we all know has shed the injury risk label en route to threatening Eric Dickerson’s single season rushing yards record and will be looking for a bigger game against the Eagles this time around. Murray actually averages 13 more yards per game on the road and will look to post over 125 yards on the Eagles this week. Jonathan Stewart looked fantastic this past week and reminded us why, when healthy and not being vultured for carries by Cam Newton, DeAngelo Williams and Mike Tolbert, that he is one of the most talented running backs in the entire NFL. Le’Veon Bell has been on a tear of his own lately as he has amazed by amassing over 185 rushing yards twice in the past three weeks while going over 200 yards from scrimmage in all three of those contests. The Steelers will be hard to beat with Bell running like a mad man.

At wide receiver Odell Beckham continues to stake his claim as a WR1 talent for the Giants and is ranked fifth overall with an easy matchup against Washington on slate for week 15. Josh Gordon’s value remains unchanged with the quarterback change in Cleveland as he has proven to be QB proof and is currently eighth on our rankings for this week. Martavis Bryant seems primed to go off in a juicy matchup against a struggling Falcons pass defense and offers WR3 value with WR2 upside. We expect Jordan Matthews to have a solid outing vs the Cowboys and have him in our top 20 for week 15. Charles Johnson of the Vikings is a legit flex option for those in deeper formats and is currently our 35th ranked receiver as of this writing.

Without further adieu here are our week 15 rankings for the 2014 fantasy football season:
