Week 3 WR Rankings
Julio Jones has dropped to number four in our week three rankings as opposing defenses have already started to treat him as the Falcons number one receiver. He is still a threat to be the top fantasy receiver on any given week but he has a very low floor as evidenced on Monday Night Football. Roddy White has been given a corresponding boost in rankings and is ranked in the top-nine as of Tuesday evening.
Hakeem Nicks is still not 100 percent but coming off of a 199 yard game and facing a beatable Panthers secondary in week three, he is a top-five option.
I have Brandon Marshall all the way down at 11 this week as he faces tough cornerback tandem of Cortland Finnegan and Janoris Jenkins and the St. Louis Rams. Beast can breakout in any game but this is an elite CB duo.
Pierre Garcon is ranked as a top-15 option and will be until the Redskins find RGIII a better target. RGIII has an uncanny ability to use his legs to extend the pocket just long enough to get the ball downfield to his receivers. Garcon is a high end WR2 with WR1 upside every week.
Brandon LaFell is ranked all the way up at 22 after his breakout game in week two. The Panthers face a very weak Giants secondary in week three which should allow LaFell to post WR2 numbers without much of an issue.
