Week Six Rankings

AJ Green is incredible and fantasy owners are beginning to see why he was drafted over Julio Jones as the first receiver taken in the 2011 NFL draft. Like Calvin Johnson and Larry Fitzgerald Green is both quarterback proof and double team proof and is a weekly must start as a top WR1 option likely for the rest of his career. The Browns will get Joe Haden back for this match-up but as we have intimated AJ Green is close to impossible to hold down for an entire sixty minutes given the accurate targets.

Alfred Morris gets a tough test this week against the Vikings but his success in this matchup likely depends more on the availability of RGIII than the Vikings defense itself. Morris has the one-cut skill to succeed against most teams and the redskins have been blocking well for the most part this season when it comes to the run game. Morris is ranked as top ten option this week despite facing a tough run D.

There is no official word as to whether or not Aaron Hernandez will suit up for the Patriots this week but we have him ranked all the way up at number five in our preliminary rankings. Hernandez was emerging as a focal point of the Patriots attack before he went down with injury and there is no reason to think that will change.

Matt Ryan has finally entrenched himself in the elite fantasy quarterback conversation and is ranked as the top option this week with an easy matchup against the Raiders secondary on tap this week. It is not as if Ryan will be in the weekly conversation for the top spot yet but Cam Newton is struggling, RGIII may not play and finally exhibited his downside, Drew Brees is on bye and Aaron Rodgers faces an elite Texans defense.
