WR Rankings – Week Fourteen

Josh Gordon has cemented himself as a top-15 WR talent in the league and is actually leading the NFL in receiving yards per game and in 2nd in the NFL in total receiving yards despite missing the first two games of the season with a suspension. Gordon entered the NFL record books last week with his second consecutive 200 yard receiving game becoming the 1st player ever to have back to back 200 yard games.

Despite laying claim to being one of the most explosive receivers in the NFL T.Y Hilton has continued to be inconsistent and comes in as our 27th ranked wide receiver play despite his borderline top-15 WR upside. Hilton joins players like Vincent Jackson and Mike Wallace as deep threats who will be wildly inconsistent boom or bust weekly plays who can single handedly win or lose you fantasy matchups.

Terrence Williams remains as boom or bust weekly play with Tony Romo preferring to target Dez Bryant, Jason Witten and DeMarco Murray in the passing game. Williams flirted with upside WR3 value for a few weeks but has put just 87 total yards in his last four games combined. Leave Williams on fantasy benches until further notice regardless of matchup. Williams comes in as our 55th ranked wide receiver for week fourteen.

Tavon Austin has been on fire over the past few weeks but the astute fantasy owner will see that Austin has been the beneficiary of big plays in the return game and a couple of long touchdowns. Austin still remains an inconsistent fantasy option and should not be trusted during the fantasy playoffs to give owners a serviceable performance. This week Austin squares off against Patrick Peterson and a Cardinals pass defense giving up the sixth fewest fantays points to opposing wide receivers. Austin comes in as our 60th ranked wide receiver for week fourteen of the fantasy football season.
