DeMarcus Cousins: Fantasy Basketball Rookie Impact

DeMarcusCousins_gettyFantasy.  Beast.

DeMarcus Cousins is all but assured to be a fantasy beast and should be the 2nd rookie player selected in redraft formats and a top-3 rookie draft pick in dynasty leagues.

DeMarcus Cousins is going to make an instant fantasy impact despite playing beside Jason Thompson and Samuel Dalembert. He is the most talented of the three and will see the most playing time barring foul trouble.

Tyreke Evans is thrilled to have DeMarcus coming to Sacramento and believes that they will form one of the leagues most deadly one-two punches….we agree.

It is not going to be fair to a lot of teams because the Kings have one the most promising big man corps in the NBA. DeMarcus is capable of 20-10 right off the bat, and the hiring of his high school basketball coach to help keep him in line mitigates most of the risk that may have been associated with drafting DeMarcus Cousins in fantasy.

Demarcus has the potential to finish the season as top-5 center but will probably be locked as a top-10 due to many power forwards also having center eligibility and is a solid sleeper to target on draft day.
