Hot Pickups – Week 4

Mikel LeShoure – Available in 44 percent of Yahoo! leagues, LeShoure should not be available in any competitive leagues, but on the odd chance he is still on your waiver wire, this is the player you were waiting for to spend your free agent dollars or waiver priority on. LeShoure went off for 100 yards and a touchdown on the ground and hauled in four passes for 29 yards in his first career NFL game. In an explosive offense like the Lions boast LeShoure has legit 1,000 yard, 10+ TD upside. Add wherever available.

Kyle Rudolph – Kyle Rudolph is somehow available in 61 percent of Yahoo! leagues despite being a top-six tight end in the Yahoo! game after this first three weeks. Rudolph is an athletic freak that should be confidently added in all leagues as a solid low-end, high upside TE1.

Jacquizz Rodgers – Available in 54 percent of Yahoo! leagues Rodgers amassed 15 touches in week three and his is expanding towards a more even timeshare going forward. Rodgers looks like a good bet for decent bye week filler/flex2 value this year.

Bilal Powell – Powell seems to be making a play for an ineffective Shonn Greene’s starting job and it may not be long before it happens. Powell is the back they want on the field for pass protection and passing downs and with the run game not clicking the Jets will likely look to open up the playbook after their bye week. At the very least this backfield is trending towards a 50/50 timeshare. Powell is available in 97 percent of Yahoo! leagues.

Andrew Hawkins – Hawkins continues to impress. The casual observer will complain that he does not play enough snaps as the Bengals commonly lineup in the I formation when they plan to run the ball, but Hawkins has been consistent thus far this season one way or another. Hawkins is a special talent and his role will continue to grow in this offense. Hawkins is available in 76 percent of Yahoo! leagues.

Heath Miller – Big Ben said he wants to send Heath to the pro bowl. After three games and four touchdown receptions, I believe him. Miller is the number three tight end in the Yahoo! game and is available in 58 percent of Yahoo! leagues.

Ramses Barden – Barden went off in week three and put a firm grasp on the number three job behind Hakeem Nicks and Victor Cruz. Available in 88 percent of leagues Barden makes a upside flex2 play/bye week filler going forward. There is a chance he descends the depth chart as the season wears on so do not go crazy bidding for his this week.

Nate Burleson – the self proclaimed ‘Black Wes Welker’ finally made good on the claim as the Canadian posted his first double digit reception game since 2004. The number two wide receiver job belongs to Burleson and despite that he is still available in 75 percent of Yahoo! leagues.

T.Y Hilton – T.Y Hilton has found fantasy value in the deepest of leagues and dynasty leagues with his breakout week three contest as Hilton went off for 113  yards and a touchdown off of four receptions. Available in 99 percent of Yahoo! leagues Hilton is worth a late week add if roster space allows. Hilton is behind Avery on the depth chart but will play on the outside in three wide sets with Reggie Wayne in the slot.

Golden Tate – Tate has emerged as one of Russell Wilson’s most trusted targets after a strong week three with two touchdowns, but in a decidedly run first system that still does not give him more than flex2/bye week filler value going forward. He is available in 97 percent of Yahoo! leagues but is someone to add for a low bid or after players now on waivers are placed back on the free agent pool.
