IDP Rankings – Week Twelve

Paul Worrilow has been on fire for the Atlanta Falcons and the undrafted free agent somehow managed to post 60 tackles in just the last four weeks. His breakneck pace obviously cannot be maintained but he has worked his way into the LB1 conversation with his eyebrow raising performances of 6, 19, 19 and 16 total tackles over the past four. Not even a hometown statcounter is the culprit here as three of the past four have been on the road. It appears the Falcons have found themselves a diamond in the rough and fantasy owners should make the add wherever possible, Worrilow is going to ball. Worrilow is currently fourth overall in our rankings.

Luke Kuechly is just a linebacking stud, he never gives up on plays and while he may not finish as the top scoring linebacker week in and week out it is not because of a lack of effort on his part. Luke is hands down one of the top three IDP linebackers in the NFL and his style of play will be keep him amongst the league’s elite for years to come. Luke comes in at an easy number one overall this week with Vontaze Burfict on bye and Sean Lee injured.

Eric Weddle has been rock solid the past few weeks averaging 10 total tackles over his past three games and comes in at number four in our week twelve rankings.

Antrel Rolle is another defensive back who has been balling as of late as he has amassed 20 total tackles, 2 interceptions, 2 sacks, one fumble recovery and two passes defended over his past three games. Rolle comes in at fifth overall this week despite playing a Cowboys team that gives up the fewest fantasy points to opposing safety’s.

Chandler Jones seems like he gets a weekly mention in this column and for good reason, he has quietly emerged as one of the elite options at defensive line and if J.J Watt is owned in 81 percent of Yahoo! leagues than Jones should be owned in more than only 38 percent of leagues. Get Jon ‘Bones’ Jones’ brother on your squad.

Lamarr Houston has been downright impressive for the Raiders averaging 4.2 total tackles per game to go with five sacks and two forced fumbles. Coming into this year we did not expect any Raider to work his way into LB1 or DL1 territory but Houston has forced his way into the conversation with his consistent play. Houston should be on fantasy teams over a lot of better known names like Osi Umenyiora, Justin Tuck, Jason Pierre-Paul, Chris Long, Mario Williams and Jared Allen.
