IDP Rankings – Week Two

If you are not playing in an IDP league you are not playing competitive fantasy football. Nowadays many leagues have abandoned kickers and defensive/special teams in favor of individual defensive players with good reason. Being penalized for an entire defense becomes a streamers game especially when your drafted option has tough matchups on the slate. IDP on the ontherhand requires skill and a deeper well of football knowledge. Many leagues only have one or two IDP flex slots and they can probably play the wire for their IDP’s but those in deeper multiple starter at DB, LB and DL leagues understand the importance of forward thinking when selecting their IDP options.

At linebacker we have LaVonte David atop our list while Jerod Mayo and Sio Moore are the most notable upward movers based on their week one performance

At defensive end Chandler Jones still occupies our number two spot behind JJ Watt despite his ho-hum week one fantasy wise.while Michael Bennett gets a slight boost in our week two rankings after a solid week one.

At defensive back Mark Barron still tops our rankings despite Harrison Smith’s solid week one performance. There are quite a few useful defensive back options this year for fantasy purposes. This week we have 20 players more than capable of posting DB1 numbers and that seems like it will be the theme all season leaving our rankings at this position a lot harder to nail down than at linebacker and the defensive line.
