Blake Griffin – Blake Griffin is one of my favorite power forward sleepers as he is expected to be given the keys to the franchise and he is perfectly capable of putting up 18 and 10 or better. He will not need to share touches in the front court and should battle John Wall and DeMarcus Cousins for rookie of the year honors. Lets remember folks this is last years #1 pick who averaged 22.7 points 14.4 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.2 blocks as a sophomore in college all on a phenomenal .654 shooting percentage.

J.J Hickson
– J.J Hickson is seemingly set to be the new star in Cleveland and you have to believe he has considerable upside on this team which is devoid of young talent and will probably be making the push to develop the young talent they do have. JJ had a 20-13 game last year as well as a career high 16 rebounds in another game, so it is evident the talent is there for a monstrous season as the Cavaliers #1 option.

Thaddeus Young – He is a forgotten man in some drafts but owners need to take notice. He will be the 76ers starting power forward and is capable of hitting more than a 3 a game and also contributing close to a double-double which almost ensures that Thaddeus will prove to be solid sleeper. Latest news has it that he may play SF with Spencer Hawes at C, and Elton Brand at PF but that experiment will likely not last long as the 76ers will look to get their best players on the floor, and that means Jrue Holiday at PG, Evan Turner at SG, Andre Iguodala at SF, Thaddeus Young at PF and Elton Brand at C.

J-Has
Paul Millsap This year Yahoo! Sports has him ranked 65 after finishing last year as 62nd best fantasy player.  Finishing 62nd is Impressive considering that he came off the bench in 90% of the games last year. Yahoo’s ranking of 65 would make sense if nothing changed in Utah.  However, the situation has drastically improved for Millsap, as Boozer is out of Utah, and Mehmet Okur is injured for at least the first half of the season.  It is clear that newly acquired Al Jefferson will start at Center and Millsap at Power Forward.   Millsap came off the bench for the majority of last season’s games, but over his 8 starts, he averaged 15.4 points, 8.4 rebounds, 1.6 blocks, 1.4 steals, and 3 assists, while shooting 51% from the field.  Now with the consistency of a starting position locked up, I expect a return to his 2008-09 rebound numbers of 10 per game (over 38 starts), while also contributing in points, blocks, steals, and field goal percentage.
