2018 Fantasy Football: Week Fifteen Tight End Rankings

0

Rizzla presents his tight end rankings for week fifteen and takes a look at the quarter final rounds TE1’s.

As if often the case, the tight end position, much like the quarterback position can be among the hardest to predict week to week. A glance at this weeks list will prove that even in the fantasy football playoffs that this holds true.

George Kittle 34.0
Rob Gronkowski 24.7
Travis Kelce 20.7
Jared Cook 18.6
Ian Thomas 16.7
Eric Ebron 16.5
Cameron Brate 15.2
Dallas Goedert 14.4
Ryan Griffin 13.0
Blake Jarwin 12.6
Derek Carrier 10.9
Evan Engram 10.7

There are quite a few surprise names on this list: Cameron Brate had the toughest tight end matchup he will have down the stretch and after putting up a dud in week thirteen, managed to put up a TE1 performance despite the terrible matchup. Ian Thomas was a flop earlier this season when Greg Olsen missed time but has taken advantage of circumstances, including Cam Newton’s injured shoulder, to finally become a fantasy asset. Other surprise names include Dallas Goedert, Ryan Griffin, Blake Jarwin and Derek Carrier, the majority of whom had their big games on waiver wires outside of two tight end leagues.

As always we will be updating our rankings up until kickoff Thursday, Saturday and Sunday so be sure to check back often for our latest updates and thoughts.
