2018 Fantasy Football: Week Fourteen Running Back Rankings

0

Rizzla provides his running back rankings and takes a peek at the running backs who have been on fire over the past four weeks.

This week we will take a look at the hottest running back in the league heading into the fantasy football quarterfinals. The following players have averaged the most fantasy points since week ten.

Christian McCaffrey 32.9
Ezekiel Elliott 30.2
Nick Chubb 26.6
Leonard Fournette 25.3
Saquon Barkley 25.0
Phillip Lindsay 24.2
Aaron Jones 23.3
Melvin Gordon 23.2
Todd Gurley 23.0
Kerryon Johnson 21.3
Tarik Cohen 19.0
David Johnson 18.0

There are no surprising names on this list but the fact remains that this exercise has been very revealing and informative. Names like Nick Chubb, Phillip Lindsay and Aaron Jones have proven to be elite options at their positions and should be in the RB1 mix both the rest of the season and heading into 2019 drafts. Kerryon Johnson is another talented running back who will be in the second round mix in 2019 and should be a borderline RB1 if he returns healthy this season. Leonard Fournette on the other hand has made the most of his volume, but remains just that a volume based back that needs to increase his efficiency to avoid becoming a true committee back. Tarik Cohen should be lights out for the Bears the rest of the season but is sure to welcome some new players to the Bears running back room prior to the 2019 season.

As always we will be updating our rankings up until kickoff Sunday afternoon, so be sure to check back often for our latest updates and thoughts.
