0

Rizzla presents his tight end rankings and takes a brief look at which players have been TE1’s since week ten.

This week we will take a look at a snapshot of the players who have ranked as TE1’s over the past four weeks. These players are of increased importance as they are heating up right in time for the fantasy football playoffs.

Travis Kelce 26.0
Zach Ertz 20.9
Eric Ebron 16.2
George Kittle 14.0
Jared Cook 13.9
Austin Hooper 13.0
Jordan Reed 12.2
Jonnu Smith 10.8
Gerald Everett 10.4
Rob Gronkowski 10.1
Vance McDonald 9.7
Ian Thomas 9.6

It should be noted that Ian Thomas only saw one game in this timeframe. There are not any surprising names on this list aside from Gerald Everett who is still buoyed by his week twelve two touchdown outing against the Kansas City Chiefs.

The tight end conversation this week is centered around Pittsburgh Steelers rookie Jaylen Samuels who qualifies as a tight end as well as a running back on fantasy sports most used provider in Yahoo Sports. Regardless of whether or not he should even have been listed here, he is, and owners should take advantage. Samuels is the top pickup of the week with James Conner thought to be dealing with a high ankle sprain.

As always we will be updating our rankings up until kickoff Sunday afternoon, so be sure to check back often for our latest updates and thoughts.
