2018 Fantasy Football: Week Twelve IDP Rankings

0

Rizzla presents his IDP rankings and takes a look at the monster performances that led to DPOW honors for week eleven.

This week we are anxious to jump into our rankings so we will take a look at the defensive players of the week for each conference for week eleven.

Samson Ebukam had a coming out part on Monday Night Football as he was a terror all over the field. Ebukam scored both a pci six and a fumble return touchdown, becoming just the eleventh player to accomplish this feat since the Super Bowl era began. Ebukam had a quiet day in the tackle department, recording just two solos and one assist but added one sack, one tackle for loss, one pass deflection to go with the aforementioned pick six and fumble return TD. While Ebukam’s star was indeed born on MNF he is still only a LB3 for IDP purposes with his arrow pointing up in favorable matchups. The true magnitude of Ebukam’s stellar play in week eleven cannot be measured by traditional boxscores alone and this is supported by his 87.5 PFF grade.

Von Miller had a solid week eleven that won his AFC DPOW honors as he racked up a 42 yard interception return to go alone with a sack, one solo and a pass deflection. As always with Miller and even Ebukam above this past Monday, outside backers in 3-4 schemes may not always rack up the tackles but their presence is felt by opposing QB’s much more than traditional box scores indicate as evidenced by his 90.1 PFF grade for week eleven. Miller unlike Ebukam is an upside LB2 despite primarily playing in an edge rusher role with linebacker designation. Miller is a future Hall of famer and became the fifth quickest ever to record 100 career sacks and is consistently one of the most valuable 3-4 OLB’s in all of fantasy football.

As always we will be updating our rankings up until kickoff on Sunday so be sure to check back often for our latest updates and thoughts.
