Rizzla presents his pre combine dynasty league rookie rankings for the 2019 season.

With the combine just a couple weeks away now is as good a time as any to take a first look at our dynasty league rookie rankings for the 2019 season.

As you may have heard this draft class is a little light on elite talent on offense leaving zero consensus as to who are this years top rookies. There are however a few common names in the discussion including Rodney Anderson, Darrell Henderson, David Montgomery, Josh Jacobs, Devin Singletary and Damien Harris at running back. At wide receiver the top names are A.J. Brown, N’Keal Harry, D.K. Metcalf, Kelvin Harmon, Hakeem Butler and Marquise Brown. The tight end class is led by T.J. Hockenson, Noah Fant, Irv Smith Jr., Caleb Wilson and Dawson Knox. Finally we have Kyler Murray at Dwayne Haskins leading the class, with a couple second round grade prospects in Drew Lock, Will Grier and Daniel Jones leading the conversation at quarterback.

We currently have 100 rookie prospects ranked and we will expand the list to our top-100 immediately following the combine. While this rookie class is light on top end talent, it is actually exceptionally deep. Most of the QB’s look more like high end backups but could improve said situation across the NFL in one weekend. The wide receiver class lacks a true top ten or even top fifteen talent but has several players who has the tools to produce like one. Dynasty league owners that are holding on to receiver outside of the top-36 should be very concerned about the amount of talent that will be hitting depth charts this April at wide receiver. While the running back position only has one name that profiles as a surefire elite RB1 talent, he has major injury concerns due to a lengthy history. There is however over 20 running backs that would start for some teams right now so there is destined to be quite a few veterans take a sharp dip in their fantasy values. Tight end is actually quite exciting with as many as ten potential starters up for grabs on draft day. It is more likely this number settles around seven or eight but the upside in this class is palpable. At least three of the names may debut as TE1’s depending on where they land in this years draft.

Without further adieu, here are our pre-combine dynasty league rookie rankings.
