B-Mac to Dolphins

Brandon_MarshallBrandon Marshall has been traded to the Miami Dolphins for 2 second round picks, one this year, and one next.

Brandon Marshall has already been awarded a new contract, and some wonder why Parcells would move to acquire the player affectionately known in fantasy circles as ‘Baby T.O’.

Off-field issues notwithstanding, Marshall is a top-10 receiver in the league and will be for years to come. His record breaking single-game catch performance shows just how exceptional he is and being a former running back he is one of the hardest receivers in the league to tackle.

Chad Henne has a big arm and should be able to get the ball to Marshall at will, especially in the vertical game, but Marshall has shown good wherewithal on all types of routes during his career with the Bronco’s.

Pencil Marhsall in for a fantasy upgrade, as he is the clear-cut #1 in Miami.

Upgrade:

Chad Henne gets a huge boost as this offense was devoid of play makers outside of Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams.

Ronnie Brown gets an upgrade as B-mac will keep opposing defensive schemes more honest as they will no longer be able to key in on the run. We expect at least one Brown to Marshall TD pass this year.

Eddie Royal – Criminally misused Eddie Royal gets a huge boost after his disappointing sophomore campaign. Royal is the de facto new #1 in Denver.

Downgrade:

Kyle Orton – Orton loses his best weapon and stands to take a serious hit, pending of course who the Bronco’s add this off-season. Anything short of Dez Bryant and Orton will not be able to be drafted with the same confidence we was drafted with this year.

Ted Ginn – The Ginn experiment is over. He is now on the trade block.

Greg Camarillo – Camarillo has shown flashes but is expected to open the season 4th on the depth chart behind Patrick Turner.
