Rizzla discusses the top cost per projected (CPP) plays for week fifteen at FanDuel.

With only four teams remaining in season long leagues, eliminated managers are becoming more active in DFS tournaments making identifying the top potential values more crucial than ever to gain a competitive advantage over the field. We will discuss the top cost per projected point plays for week fifteen at FanDuel.

Daily Fantasy Football: Week Fifteen at FanDuel

Andrew Luck ($333 CPP; $8,100 salary)

Andrew Luck seems to have a tougher test this week against a Dallas Cowboys defense giving up the ninth fewest fantasy points to opposing signal callers. The Cowboys have surrendered 242.7 passing yards and 1.5 touchdowns per game to the quarterback position on the season but have allowed 254.8 yards and 1.8 touchdowns over their last five contests. This play is more about Andrew Luck getting some of that good old home cooking as he averages 310.7 yards, 8.0 yards per attempt and a 19:4 TD to INT at home compared to 270.2 passing yard average, a 15:9 TD to INT ratio and 6.4 yards per attempt on the road. Our top CPP play of the week is a standout value at $333 per projected point.

Joe Mixon ($383 CPP; $7,800 salary)

Joe Mixon has a hot date with an Oakland Raiders defense allowing the tenth most fantasy points to opposing running backs. At 78.5 rushing yards Mixon is fifth in the NFL in per game average and looks to be in line for a monster day against an Oakland Raiders defense that has given up the second most rushing yards per game at 112.9 per contest. Mixon should be the focal point of the Bengals offense in week fifteen and will look to finish as an RB1 for the third time in his last four contests. Mixon is projected to put up 130 plus yards from scrimmage with at least one trip to the end zone making him a rock sold lineup addition.

Dalvin Cook ($374 CPP; $6,200 salary)

As anyone who watched the Vikings this year has seen the Vikings have shown a frustrating propensity to turn away from the run for what seems like quarters at a time. With John DeFilippo getting the axe everyone and their mothers expect the Vikings to try to establish the run against a Miami Dolphins defense surrendering the seventh most fantasy points to opposing running backs. The Fins have allowed 25.2 carries, 113.7 yards (fourth most) and 0.8 rushing touchdowns with 5.4 receptions, 49.5 receiving yards and 0.2 touchdowns through the air to the running back position on the season and are expected to give up a monster day to a Vikings team that will look to establish the run to set up the passing and play action game. Ride with Cook in what projects to be an RB1 performance from the talented running back.

Amari Cooper ($424 CPP; $6,400 salary)

The NFL leader in receiving yards since week nine, Amari Cooper faces off against an Indianapolis Colts defense relinquishing the sixth fewest fantasy points to opposing to enemy wideouts. The Colts have been solid on the season as they are giving up just 10.8 receptions and 128.8 yards per game (second fewest) but have surrendered a touchdown per game to the wide receiver position. A closer look at the Colts numbers reveals that they have allowed 99 yards and a touchdown per game to the WR1 types they have faced this season giving Cooper solid upside from that lens. Further solidifying Cooper as a strong play this weekend is the plus matchup he has against corner Quincy Wilson a 4.54 corner (Cooper has 4.42 speed) who has allowed a 74 percent catch rate on the season. Start the rejuvenated Cooper where needed.

Corey Davis ($438 CPP; $5,800)

Our number two CPP play of the week for this Sunday contests, Corey Davis has what looks to be a tough matchup against a New York Giants defense allowing the eighth fewest fantasy points to opposing wide receivers. The Giants have given up 11.5 receptions, 157.6 yards and 0.8 touchdowns per game to the wide receiver position on the season as a whole but as is the case with many teams that have a negative scoring margin those numbers are gamescript aided. Davis will square off against talented cornerback Janoris Jenkins this weekend and while Jenkins is indeed a playmaker as evidenced by his three picks and eleven pass breakups (third in NFL) he has allowed six touchdowns, a 103.5 passer rating against and a 67.4 percent catch rate on the season. Davis has sneaky upside this week against a defense whose fantasy points against do not tell the whole story. Roll with what will be a motivated Corey Davis where needed as a contrarian play.

Eric Ebron ($516 CPP; $6,500 salary)

Finally living up to his immense talent, Eric Ebron faces off against a Dallas Cowboys defense allowing the eleventh most fantasy points to opposing tight ends. The ‘Boys are giving up six receptions, 62.1 yards and 0.5 touchdowns per game to the tight end position on the season giving Ebron a solid floor in this contest. A deeper analysis of the Cowboys fantasy points against reveals that they have only faced one top five tight end all season in Zach Ertz, who thrashed them for an average of 9.5 receptions, 91.5 yards and a touchdown per game giving Ebron an immense ceiling for this weekends FanDuel contests.
