Fantasy Beasts of the Week – Week 9: Hillis and Owens Shine

Running Back

Peyton Hills shredded the New England Patriots defense for 189 yards and 2 TD’s off of 29 carries, he also added 3 receptions for 36 yards and is week 9’s Fantasy Beast of the Week.

Peyton Hillis has been destroying it all season and already proved to be the only truly match-up proof back when he terrorized the Ravens D, but proving it once again against a New England D that never gave up a 100 yard rusher all season proves it again.

I cant imagine how coveted a back he would have been coming into the league if he had been a running back in college instead of a fullback blocking for 1st round picks Darren McFadden and Felix Jones.

Roll with Hillis the rest of the season in every match-up.

Wide Receiver

Terrell Owens makes another appearance as the Fantasy Beast of the Week finishing Monday Night Football with 10 receptions, 141 yards and 2 TD’s.

Coming into the season Chad Ochocinco came out himself and said big brother T.O would be the Batman to his Robin….hardly anyone in the fantasy community beside die-hard Owens fans listened and they have benefited greatly.

Owens now has 55 receptions, 770 yards and 7 TD’s, and has already had a better fantasy season in Cincinnati in half a season than he did all season with the Buffalo Bills.

He is the #2 fantasy WR and is on pace to threaten his career highs in receptions and yardage and you could not have scripted a better fantasy season for the 38 year old who no one wanted this off-season and only got signed because Antonio Bryant’s knees flared up.

T.O is a must-start the rest of the season and is absolutely on fire with 6 TD’s in his last 4 games.
