Fantasy Football Fix Oct 27th 2010

In Today’s Fantasy Football Fix: Beanie Wells set to take over as the Cardinals starter; Chester Taylor and Matt Forte will see the field together; Knowshown Moreno aggravates his hamstring injury and more….

Cardinals Wells FootballBeanie Wells’ role is set to expand for the Arizona Cardinals as Tim Hightower is experiencing some detrimental ball security issues. It is about time the torch got passed and Wells was named the official starter. His fantasy arrow is pointing up and this is an excellent buy-low window.

Knowshown Moreno may have aggravated his hamstring injury on Wednesday and he is danger of missing some more time with this injury.

The Chicago Bears plan to use both Matt Forte and Chester Taylor on the field at the same time, and this is good news for the fantasy values of both Chester Taylor and Jay Cutler. This news makes a Taylor a flex option in PPR leagues.

Vernon Davis missed his second straight practice and fantasy owners will want to check back to see if he gets some reps in this week as that will be a very good indicator of whether or not he will suit up this weekend.

Detroit Lions rookie running back Jahvid Best who seemed well on his way to ROY honors before turf toe ruined that possibility may not be 100% again this season and redraft owners may want to see what the market is like for Best. Best is an excellent buy-low candidate in dynasty leagues.

Poor route running is the reason promising rookie Golden Tate has not seen the field much this season. We still have high hopes for Tate.
