Fantasy Football Hot Pickups – Week 10

James Jones exploded in Donald Driver’s absence despite not drawing the start, he finished the game with 8 receptions for 123 yards and 1 touchdown. Jones is currently only 18% owned and needs to be picked up in all leagues especially if Driver is out for an extended period of time.

Jacoby Ford looked electric and broke out for 148 yards on 6 receptions and has heavily impressed in a season where he was supposed to be buried on the depth chart. He is worth the add in all dynasty leagues and is worth a look in deeper redraft formats. He also added a kick-off return TD and had over 300 all-purpose yards.

Bernard Berrian is only 8% owned after never seeming to gel with Brett Favre this season…..until now. Popular draft season sleeper Bernard Berrian finally showed up in the fantasy box score with 9 receptions for 89 yards and needs to owned in all leagues not that the on-field chemistry seems to finally be developing.

Lance Moore was solid once again and led the Saints in receiving yards with 77 yards off of 6 receptions. He is now 66% owned and we usually don’t recommend players over 60% owned but Moore needs to be owned in all competitive leagues, especially PPR leagues.

Seyi Ajirotutu had a breakout game for the Chargers with 2 touchdowns and 111 yards off of 4 receptions. He is worth a short-term add in all leagues and should be flex worthy until week 12 when Vincent Jackson and Malcolm Floyd are set to return. Bear in mind that Antonio Gates was also out of this contest before spending to many free agent dollars or a high waiver priority.

Roscoe Parrish is worth a pickup in the deepest of standard leagues and in PPR leagues coming off a 7 reception, 60 yard, 1 touchdown performance in Toronto against the Bears. He is worth a look as a flex2 or as a flex option in deeper PPR leagues. Wait for word on his injury before going crazy with a claim. Update: Parrish is done for the season

Michael Jenkins had a quiet 2 reception owned but is sitting at only 4% owned and is worth a roster spot in most leagues and the Falcons #2 WR and #3 option in the passing game.

Earl Bennett is available in 98% of leagues and this number actually surprised me as I thought his ownership numbers would be closer to 50%. Look to make the add wherever roster space is available, especially in PPR formats. He had a solid game in Toronto with 4 receptions for 52 yards and 1 score.

Brian Hartline is worth a look again after a solid performance this past Sunday where he led the Dolphins in receiving yards with 85 coming off of 4 receptions. He is currently only third on the depth chart and thus expectations should be adjusted accordingly.

Nate Burleson had a solid game with Matthew Stafford under center with 7 receptions for 113 yards and a TD. He is currently only 9% owned and despite Stafford re-injuring his throwing shoulder he is worth an end of your bench add with flex upside.

Jordy Nelson had a solid game in Donald Driver’s absence with 4 receptions for 42 yards and is worth an add in deeper leagues. He got the start in place of Driver but was outperformed by James Jones but is still worth a look

Javarris James had 2 goal-line TD’s for the Colts and is worth a look if you are RB needy and have the roster space to see how his role expands going forward.

Jordan Shipley has impressed all season and is a solid PPR flex play due to his weekly upside. He is a solid buy in dynasty leagues if he is not on the wire and he figures to have a couple more big weeks from a fantasy perspective this year playing in between Ochocinco and Owens.

James Davis is a solid speculative add as we expect him to be more involved in the Redskins run game if Clinton Portis is unable to return this week. He is a solid add in dynasty leagues as he may be able to secure a job for 2011 and beyond if he manages to impress the Shannahan’s.
