Mike Bibby Gives Up Entire 2011-2012 Salary to Leave Wizards

Mike Bibby seems to be one of the odd basketball players who can actually save and make money off the money he has already made.

He must be, as he has just agreed to give up his entire 2011-2012 salary of $6.2 million dollars to have the opportunity to leave the Washington Wizards.

Sources have it that the Heat are his preference as they offer his clearest path to playing time but he will entertain other offers before deciding within the next week.

The Heat are the only destination that would avail him any semblance of fantasy value and that would only be for those in deeper leagues.

This is one of those moves that make a bigger impact in reality than in fantasy.
