You cannot replace Troy Tulowitzki. Let’s not get ahead of ourselves. The following gentlemen may ease the pain of his absence in your lineup, however.
Zack Cozart, SS, Cincinnati Reds- Cozart is probably the best available shortstop in your fantasy league. He has 7 HR, 15 RBI, and his 18 doubles lead all major league shortstops. He is owned in just 37.5 percent of ESPN fantasy leagues and 29 percent of Yahoo! fantasy leagues
Elliott Johnson, SS, Tampa Bay Rays- Johnson hasn’t gotten a lot of opportunities for the Rays this season but has been seeing more playing time lately. He’s hitting .273 with 19 RBI and 10 SB. Johnson is available in 91 percent of ESPN fantasy leagues and Yahoo! fantasy leagues.
Willie Bloomquist, SS, OF, Arizona Diamondbacks- I like Bloomquist because of his veteran consistency. He’s hitting .287 in 212 ABs this season and still has decent speed (five SB) for his age. Bloomquist is owned in only 3.3 percent of ESPN fantasy leagues and 6 percent of Yahoo! fantasy leagues
