WR Rankings – Week Six

Torrey Smith – Torrey Smith makes his highest rank thus far this year (9th) going up against the Green Bay Packers this week. We expect Flacco to be forced to throw this week which means Torrey Smith should see a healthy dose of targets. Smith is a big play waiting to happen and should surpass 85 yards receiving with a good chance to find the end zone.

AJ Green is in line for bounce back week against the Bills secondary in week six. The Bills are expected to welcome back Jairus Byrd and Stephen Gilmore but AJ Green remains a top five option week to week in the fantasy game despite the limitations of his barely above average quarterback. Green gets a lot of targets and with weekly fine tuning by the Bengals coaches Dalton should be ready to help AJ put up WR1 numbers this week.

Justin Blackmon – The Jaguars are set for a date with the Denver Broncos this week and are in line to be playing catch up the entire game. Chad Henne will be the starter this week boosting Blackmon’s value even more. Blackmon comes in as a WR2 this week ranking 21st in our rankings but he has WR1 upside this week as the Jags will be forced to throw a ton.

Josh Gordon – Weeden and Gordon already have chemistry and while he does not have the upside he would have had with Hoyer under center Gordon has solidified himself as a WR2 for years to come with his recent play. Gordon squares off against a weak Lions secondary in what could be an audition for a potential trade destination.
